Anyone for Milo?

Pattern: Milo
Designer: tiKKi (Georgie Hallam)

The Pattern is available as a Ravelry download for $5AUD here.

This Milo is for Melissa, I bought this wool from Trade Me earlier this year, and I have knitted a few things out of it already. I thought it would look great knitted as a Milo and I wasn't wrong. It doesn't hurt that Melissa loves it too!

If you look down a couple of posts you will see Hannah modelling the Purple one I knitted her. These vests are great for keeping little kids warm and cosy, look out for more of these from me soon.

Project 365

Take a photo each day for one year, this is what Project 365 is all about. You can read more about it here.

I had seen a few Project 365's on peoples blogs etc and now that I am into photography I thought it would be a great idea, however I didn't want to wait until 1 January to start, so I started on 1 July 2009. You can see my progress by looking at the Flickr slideshow at the left side of my blog. Or you can see my photostream in Flickr

Is anyone else taking part in this fun project, if so send me a link to your photos!

Knitting Update

Well everything else seems to have taken a back-seat for knitting lately, here are the results.

A hoodie for Melissa - Bargain knitting, wool cost $1 per ball, used a total of 6 balls! Project details can be found on Ravelry here.

Next up I had to replace Melissa's jersey that she normally wears to kindy, unfortunately it had a fight with the washing machine and the washing machine won! It felted to approximately newborn size and is now a dog coat! Here is the replacement, details can be found here.

Then it was my turn, so I knit some gorgous fingerless gloves and a hat from Merino/Possum wool for me. Details are here and here.

And lastly a vest for Hannah, the pattern is so versatile, I have already cast on another for Melissa. When I got up this morning Hannah had already pulled it on over her pajamas and was telling me how warm it is. Details are here.
