Handwarmers

Handwarmers/Fingerless Gloves - call them what you like, but either way they are perfect for winter when normal gloves just get in the way.

Chalice Cable Handwarmers is a great pattern that I have permission from the designer to knit and sell. They are designed by Alison Green Will and her website can be found here... http://www.alisongreenwill.com/pages/chalice.htm.

Handwarmers are great, as they keep your hands warm but you still have your fingers free for driving, taking photos, typing, doing up car seat buckles and pram harnesses etc etc.

The above are some photos of a handwarmer that I have just finished knitting (it's partner is still in the works), unfortunately this photo doesn't show the full length, they are about an inch longer up the arm. Other photos can be seen on the designers website.

The handwarmers are designed to fit an adult woman's hand of approximately 7.5 inches, although they would stretch comfortably to fit 9 inches, or equally fit slightly smaller hands (this is around the palm not including the thumb).

Prices range from $40 and is dependent on yarn selection.  Prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude postage.

If you are interested in a pair of handwarmers for yourself, please send me a message.

Photo above shows Handwarmers knitting in Merino/Possum, the colour is Old Rose.
